Mike - It's because you have such a real, personal and caring writing style...keep up the good work!
Mike,
Look to your site for anything that can help me learn more about mortgages and real estate.
Any recommendations for loan officer schools would be greatly appreciated because I really am interested in learning it the best ways possible.
As it stands, I am in the process of studying for my real estate licensee exam and already have my principles certificate completed. The broker I am with now is focused on the 'sales' side of the business and we aren't even allowed to see rate sheets-instead the head processors shop the rates and programs further once we printout the major lender rates our borrower qualifies for based on our input and I hardly think this teaches or prepares anyone to work as a 1099 independent contractor 'down the road.'
Thanks for your recommendations in advance. PS: so far I've done close to 100 apps. with over 90% having pre-set appointments since Thanksgiving but only 3.5% have become closed deals and I know I need to find another broker with better leads and a different approach that teaches independence vs. dependence.
