Happy New Year!

Here's wishing you and your family the best in 2007!

The coming year promises to bring very many changes. We're going to see a housing market we've never seen before.
Look for changes in loan reporting, credit reporting, loan documentation, and so on (not to mention higher rates and the coming foreclosure boom).

Hey, that sounds a lot like Doom and Gloom!
Well it is. But like they say, there is two sides to each coin.
For each house lost to foreclosure there's someone on the other side buying that house.

On January 1st. how many people out there made resolutions to lose weight, be a better person, and so on. How many of you made the resolution to be a better investor? I did.

I made another resolution too.
It's somewhat self serving.
I'm going to be a better educator, a better loan officer, and do better financially in the coming hard times.

  • So this blog shall continue on,
  • The Newsletters shall continue on,
  • The seminars shall continue on. (I think we have 20+ planned for 2007)
  • And part of my revised business plan for '07 will be to more actively go after foreclosures.
A couple of other things have changed and will change as well:
As so many have requested, I'll try and keep the daily post length smaller.
I've also added tags (labels) for 2007 - on each post I'll summarize by adding a couple of tags or labels.
Todays has "foreclosure" and "investment".
As we go along in 2007 by clicking on a tag it'll bring up all the other posts with that same tag - pretty cool, eh?

Speaking of which, I have to get back to work!
Have a great 2007!
