Heat Map Showcases National Foreclosures

Considered by many to be an authority on the area of tracking data in the foreclosure world, RealtyTrac continues to provide useful information in easy to use formats. They recently released a "Heat Map" that shows foreclosures across the country - for the year 2006.

According to the map, it appears as if most of the foreclosures are taking place in one of two regions: the hardest hit is the mide west, commonly knows as the "Rust Belt" and then the southern and western states referred to as. "Sunbelt".

I thought others would find this map interesting and perhaps even fine a use for it. If you do, please let me know, because I am trying to figure that one out.
